Yamaha 70 CES (-84-85)

Does anyone know what is a correct reading for water pressure? I have a racing boat in which the original water inlets of the motor are not working at full speed due to the high mounting of it and therefore I have an additional water intake pipe at the transom. I have heard that there should be at least 600g in every condition? What about temperature gauge instead of pressure?<br /><br />MV

the 70 hp really is a low pressure high volume system and as best I can remember yamaha does not reccomend nor publish any data for water pressure.<br /> maybe someone else remembers something different. good luck and keep posting
