I've got a 703 throttle box with my '87 ProV 150. Recently, I took off and at about half throttle I felt a click and the throttle had locked in. I had to pull up on the red shift release handle to unlock it. The throttle works smoothly as long as I'm pulling up on the shift release.

Any idea's??

sounds like the plastic lock has moved. remove the handle and check the screws that hold it to the box.

Thanks. I'm winterizing the boat this weekend and thought I might take the thing apart while I was at it. Was wondering where to look first. I've got a Clymers that does show the exploded view.
