Yamaha 703 to 704

Hi all,

Quick question, I have tried google but with little success.

I am looking at buying a hard ttop for my boat. The problem is I currently have the 703 remote but now the ttop is going to be installed next to the console and will interfer. I am looking at changing it to the 704 control. WHat do I need to do to change from the 703?

Any advice would be great

I got thinking, my 703 controls mounted on my pontoon fence date back to 1984 in the U.S. Since my controls have worked so well, I have no knowledge about the 704.

Many people just switch over to a universal (non Yamaha) single stick console that mounts on their driver's station. My alarms and oil level warning lights, etc. are mounted in my tachometer in the dash.
