Hi all.
First of all this engine has not been used in three years.
My first port of call was to replace the impeller (fine)
I cleaned all the chambers and checked the thermostat all (fine)
I ran the engine and it pumped fine for a couple of minutes then the pressure dropped away to a trickle and stopped.
I have re checked the impellar and its still good.Gasket seal is good.
With the bottom end off i blew compressed air up the pipe and it was blowing fine out the tell tale (so no blockage).
On this image i notice an O Ring.can any member explain where this is located on the pump as i cannot find one and do not understand as there was not one on it on strip down and think this is my problem.
Is there a diagram of the pump for the yamaha 75 ae to see where it should be located ?
