Yamaha 8 HP 2 stroke Carb

I have a 90's(I think can't find serial #) Yamaha 8 hp 2 stroke kicker. I just had a waterpump kit and thermostat put in it. It ran well for 20 minutes and now will only stay running when I go from throttle back to choke to throttle etc. Any help is appreciated.I have lost my job so the shop is not an option at this point.Thanks in advance

Pull carb and clean
