I have a 1984 Yamaha 90 HP boat motor. I need to know how to install a new tachometer please.

Those model 3 cylinder motors also required a electrical adapter to work with the Yamaha tachs. Never got involved with the aftermarket guages on them but would expect that to be true on them as well.

Thanks, I don't know the answer to what make of tach and control box..it is actually my fathers boat and I'm trying to help him find an answer. He is skittish about computers but a great lover of all things involved with boats and fishing. I will have to get more info and be back in the next few days. Happy Thanksgiving!!
