I bought a 86' Yamaha E55 a while back and it has been sitting for about a year. it starts after to pulls. runs fine at any speed. after i would plane and travel for about 10 mins and slow down to trottle speed and try to plane again it does not want plane. the engine would start to, how should say, hesitate(zing,zing,zing,zing) but it idles perfectly.
to make it work i would have to run at idle speed for about 30 minutes and that sucks.
i have cleaned both carbs and replaced both spark plugs
can anyone help me

just before trying to plane pump up the primer, if it planes now then replace the fuel pump, also test the fuel system vacum this will point out any restrictions.
but the fuel pump needs attention about every 3rd season as routine maint.
