Yamaha F100 Tilt/Trim Adjustment Help Needed

Is there a way to adjust the indicator position for this engine. The engines degree of tilt is not accreately displayed onthe indicator?

The actuator arm is adjustable.

Loosen the two screws which mount it and it will pivot to adjust.

hello<br /> on the steering tube you should see a black ring with a tab. its the trim sender cam. loosen the cam lock screw, #3 phillips, and adjust as nessasary. the trim sender should be sprayed periodicaly with lube and the cams like to break. at least they are cheap and easy to replace.

look under the arm that pokes out the front underneath of your engine cowl. under that is where the trim cam rodbolt describes is located. sometimes they split and shift causing it to read wrong, there should be no split in the plastic.
