Here is my problem I hope someone can shed a little light as to what may be going on. The engine starts right up and idles smooth and quiet, but when I try to accelerate the motor doesn't seem to have any power even though the are no misses, pops, or hesitation. Just no power. Also the tach quit about the same time. Could these two issues be related? I have done a compression check and a drop down test and also fuel pressure checks at the low pressure pump and at the fuel rail, all were within spec. Also checked the cable and it was ok. Has new fuel filters and plugs. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am about to give in and take it to the dealer.
