Yamaha F40 Command Link Tach problem...

Good day...

I have installed a command link multifunction tach (square) on my 2010 F40... All seems to have went well as the unit displays the engine rpm, hours, engine temp, and battery volts, but the oil pressure and trim indicator do not seem to function...

The only connection I made to the engine was the command link cable... Is there another connection under the engine hood that I have to make, or do I have to install more sensors ???

Thanks

Ron

Re: Yamaha F40 Command Link Tach problem...

Good day...

For those interested I have solved the problems...

The old pink wire had to be connected under the hood the make the trim gague function, and the oil pressure display is not available in the Yamaha 4 strokes unless its over 115 hp I'm told...

Later Ron
