Yamaha flushing hose not pissing

I have a 1999 Yamaha 4 stroke 100 hp, When I hook up the garden hose to the flushing hose [ on the side of motor ] and turn the water on, the water no longer comes out of the pisser, it used to and it does **** normally when running in the water .
