have a 1999 Yamaha 150 TRP on a 18 foot Shallow Sport Bay boat. I purchased this boat used and have had it for two years.
The fuel economy is terrible. This boat uses more than four times more gas than a 1995 21 foot Cajun with a 130 Johnson I had before. I also have a friend that has a boat just like mine, only newer, that is much more economical than mine. When I shut the motor off, there is a slick of raw fuel in the water.
