I have a 2006 Yamaha HPDI 225 that is having acceleration issues when starting out from an idle. If I hit the hot foot the motor appears to be fuel starved for about 5 seconds. then is runs fine. If I slowly ease into the throttle there are no issues. I have replaced water separator, on motor filter, plugs. thats about the extent of my diag.
