I just remove my motor as I had to do a transom job. I am just discovering that I have wood rots in the panel guage area and might have to remove the wires/cables up there as well to do some glass work. I was comfortable in replacing the ones at the motor but the ones at the helm look so complicated with fuses, terminal blocks,etc. Would it be easier to pull out everything and redo the whole thing ? Also I assume that the functions on the yamaha multimeter guage all run thru the loom wire. Am I right? Also there are about a twelve accessory connection, ie. bilges, depth sounder, radios etc. Any literature availabe on line on how this sort of thing is done ? Proline 24' walkaround.
