Yamaha Oil Tank

Can anyone tell me if I can do away with my oil tank and run oil mixed gas? I have a 150hp 1990 Yamaha outboard.

of corse you can! you have to eliminate and close off the oil alarm and the oil pump lines that go into the cranck case.. and then just mix your oil and gas together..

it can be done, a little more to it than the above posted.
but why?
I see more damaged motors from improper pre-mixing,especially when fuel capacities exceed the 50 gallon range, than all oil injection failures I ever saw.
the yamaha precision blend just rarely suffers any mechanical failures and the electrical part is very reliable and incredibly simple to test and maintain.
