YAMAHA Outboard YEAR???

I have a 20 hp Yamaha outboard. Model number tag goes as such

First box 20SF

Bottom Left Box 6L3

Bottom Middle Box S

Bottom Right Box 001066

Can't quite figure out a year on it. From what I have found, I think it is either a 1988, or a 1994. But can't decide. Can anyone confirm a year for me? Thanks.
