I have twin 93 Yamaha 150's. I am trying to buy the roller that goes on the middle carb that works off the cam accelerator. I have been to 3 dealers and no one can fnd it on the micro fiche. I have been to the yamaha web site and cant find it either. Does anyone know the part # or were it is on the micro fiche.
Thanks

Re: Yamaha Part # problem.

It would be helpful if you gave us the exact model number because there are four different 150 models in 1993. You should be able to find the part in the CONTROL-ENGINE section of the Yamaha parts web site. If I had your exact model I should be able to give you the part number.

In the engine-control section of the yamaha web site it only shows the cam accel. diagram#33. It does not show the roller that attaches to the carb link. And when you go to the carb page it only shows the link for all 3 carbs and no roller. Am I blind and missing it or what. I really need this part, its worn down real bad.
Thanks

Do not know if this will help but you could try putting a piece of rubber/ vinyl tubing over roller for some extra life until you find the part

Re: Yamaha Part # problem.

Do you have the Yamaha #704 dual control? If so, go to the page REMOTE CONTROL COMP PARTS (704) DUAL. See if it is item 35 ROLLER FREE ACCELERATOR. Also when you go to this page print it out first as that will make the picture much larger and easier to figure out the part you need. If that does not help, call Yamaha customer service at 866-894-1626. They open at 8:30 Eastern time and they are always very helpful.

Bruce, thanks but its not there. I will have to call Yamaha to find out about this. If not I have to do what bluefish said a piece of plastic or something.
