I bought a remote oil tank for my 1992 Yamaha 200 TXRQ. Motor has 704 controller and digital gauges. Will someone tell me where the wires from the tank go? Or tell me where to find a schematic on this part of the system? Thanks.

Wiring harness plugs into engine harness on the starboard side of the engine where the main harness is connected

I found the harness plug and got the pump wired. When I turn the ignition switch on, the pump runs about two seconds then turns off. When I trigger the low oil sensor in the primary oil tank on the motor, warning signal goes off at the gauges but pump does not come on. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Three switches built in the float switch. Bottom switch triggers the alarm and light. Second switch turns the pump on and top switch turns the pump off. Where is the oil level at in both tanks?

Wow! You're fast. Engine tank is 3/4 or more full. Remote tank 1/4 to 1/3 full. It is plenty to cover the switch in it. With engine running I moved the float up and down on engine float switch. I did not pull the switch in the remote tank but I emptied the tank and checked the switch to see if it was stuck with a probe.
