Yamaha S200 1999: What is the purpose of red rubber covered toggle switch at rear?

My Yami 99 S200 came with a red toggle switch, which no one can tell me what it is used for...

Any Takers?

Without much info. or photos, my guess would be motor shroud mounted tilt switch...makes it easier when loading and unloading at boat ramp.
