Purchased a used jon boat back in Feb. Never tested it until recently.
The motor is a Yamaha 60 Tiller.
The motor idles fine, at medium speed it runs fine but when I'm at full speed or maybe 3/4 speed, it's just a matter of time (between 1 to 5 minutes) when the motor will just die like I pulled the kill switch.
I can start the motor right back up immediately with no problems and take off again until it happens.
I cleaned the fuel filter, I put Heet in the gas tank, the vent works fine.
Pics of the motor at high speed at the links below. There is a lot of spray coming from the motor too is that normal?
