Yamaha stator help please!!!!

I have a 1989 200 hp yamaha etx It will run at about a max rpm of 3500. I suspect my stator is bad on the high side. It ohms at 75 on one set of wires and around 700 ohms on the other set. Does anyone out there know for sure what it should be? Any help is greatly apreciated.

can ya post the wire colors your testing between?
and make sure the wires are dissconected from the CDI while testing.

Brown to red have about 760 ohms black/red to blue have around 75 ohms.
