Yamaha Sterndrive prop interchangability

What other brands or props if any will fit a Yamaha sterndrive? 4.3L V6....

Example - Will a Mercruiser prop fit a Yamaha drive???

Most modern props have a seperate hub to mate to different drives. I just looked up my TP Hustler and the prop is the same, but the hubs are different.

So if you are looking at props with integrated hubs, then you need to get one built for yamaha drives. If you get a newer style, just get a yamaha hub with it.

Yes, a Merc hubbed prop will work on a Yamaha. You may have to use the Merc thrust washer. Usually no big deal. One of the props I run on my Yamaha is hubbed for a Merc. Both are 15 spline 1" shafts.
