yamaha tachometer compatibility

I cant see any images on my Tach any more , and checked all wiring fine .
wanted to replace it
2000 VX200 engine
manual shows tach # 6Y5-83500-T2-00

but i am seeing other replacement #s like
6Y5 -8350 T 82
6Y5-8350T-90.
they look the same and with square fittings

can i use these ???

use the -82 and its plug and play.
-92 is not reccomended for 04 and older engines and will require harness mods to make it work.
