thanks captain. I did use the mix in the fuel, found that out the hard way. but now i am strait.
I really don't know anything about outboard motors, and do app. anything that you might have to offer.
about the carb. settings. and i don't know were the fuel pump is. I can tell you that the gas hook up on the right side has 3 pins on it.
the top pin is just for a guide. the right pin goes to the carb. and the left pin goes to the side of the block. they are all arranged in a triangle shape. With the to pin as a guide.

Re: year and carb.

Is this an older engine? If it is and from your description, you may not have a fuel pump. The left pin that goes to the side of the block may be a pressure line back to the fuel tank. If it is, that line pressurizes the fuel tank and pushes fuel to the carb.

c/6

Hooty

I think TB is talking about a dual line fuel tank.

The old pressurized tank.

TMD
