Year and Info about my motor.

Hello, I Just bought an older Evinrude 25. I believe it is a mid 70' year model, Model # E25TELCNB And ser.# E0077462 Can anyone tell me what year this is and anything else about the model? I have been unable to match it to any # list I have found I believe it may be a commercial model but I'm not sure. It runs great! Even after being store for more than a year. I have gone over the motor completely and it looks as if the motor had been serviced before it was stored. I got it for $150.00 I think it was a great deal. Hi Captain,<br /> Your motor is a 1982 model (CN). It runs a 50:1 fuel mix and requires a Champion L77JC4 spark plug. If I am reading the model number correctly, it should also be electric starting, and is also a long-shaft model. Solid motors...<br />- Scott

Thanks for the info Chinewalker,<br /> You are right it is also electric starting and a long shaft. I want to convert it to a short shaft if I can find the parts. but for right now just trying to find out info about the model. thanks again Chris
