Year by serial number on a Suzuki 90 hp

Hello there. Im new here, long time reader. Great forum.<br /><br />How would I know the year of this engine by just looking at the serial numbers?. I found two responses for this same questions but the sites they linked it to was in german i think.\\<br />\<br />The serial numbers are:<br /><br /># 09001 - 581062<br /><br />Thank you.
