Year identification?

I'm the new oner of an old 75hp Johnson. Model #V4SL 13C / Serial #2232133

Can anyone tell me the year and where I can see an exploded diagram for parts?

Any info on that engine would be greatly appreciated.

That's a 1961, surfer.

Uses Champion J4C plugs gapped at .030"

If you plan to mess with it get a manual.

Out of curiousity...is it the same basic engine as the 1963 75hp Johnson? I was thinking of picking up a cheap one that I can use for parts. Hopefully get one of them going. Will the parts be the same?

Same basic engine. But may be some serious differences too. Depends on which model for that year.
