Year / month built vs Year Model

I have an OMC 15 Johnson with a build date of 11/97 and Bomb 115 Johnson with a build date of 10/02. I'm selling the 15 as a 1998 because I bought it on 06/98. I don't want to mis-represent the motor as newer if it isn't. Anyone know what month Johnson would have stopped '97 and called the run '98's for selling? <br />Thanks
