Year of 225 mercury, newer than charts avail

I am trying to find the year of a Mercury CXLEFI with serial number of
OT760990 and any information on service that was performed on this engine. if anyone can look it up and let me know, that would be great. I burnt up my Evinrude 175 and now am looking at this engine as a replacement but would like an idea how old and what has been done to it by authorized Mercury dealer. Any help is appreciated.

Why not call an autorized Mercury dealer and ask, give them the serial # and they can tell you in two minutes all history off of MERCNET....only the dealer has the software/net connection.

2003. The build date should be stamped on the id plate.
