I have a Mariner 40HP that I need to get the year to try and find some carb rebuld kits for? Any help would be appreciated.<br /><br />serial on motor is<br /><br /> 40EL 6E9 L 418061<br /><br />Thanks in Smyrna, Tn

I think your motor is a 1985 but im not 100%because of the L in the serial no.
