Year of make?

Hello, can anybody help me?

I have just bought a boat with a Yamaha Autolube 80 hp 2 stroke and want to get a user manual.

The numbers on my Yamaha 80 hp are 80ALO 6110 L400229


Can anyone help with the year of make?

The fuel is fed through an Autoblend II unit which I have been advised to remove and mix the fuel myself, is this the best course to take?

Yamaha makes a 4 stroke 80, not a 2 stroke. Seems as if you have dropped a letter in that model number. They dont use the serial number to tell year. You may find another tag on the starboard motor mount giving you the year. Yamaha has made one of the best oil injection systems. I would not disconnect that.
