Year of manufacture on three motors?

I would appreciate any information as to the year of manufacture on an Evinrude 6HP Model#6604A,Serial#J00583,a 8HP Johnson Model#J8RCCS,Serial#B7636108,and a 6HP Chrysler Model#62HG,Serial#13468. Thanks to anyone who can help! Ownsbud56

Evinrude 6hp - 1976<br />Johnson 7.5hp (not 8, only later did they split 7.5s into 6hp and 8hp) - 1980<br />Chrysler 6hp, serial 13468 - late 1975.

Paul,<br /> Is the 7.5hp and the 8hp basically the same motor? I have a 1978 6hp and it looks to be the same physically with the exception of the graphics. The 6 has always been an excellent motor for me!Thanks!<br /> Ownsbud56
