Year of Merc

Hello I am planning to by a Mercury 115. Could anyone help me to identify the constructing year from the attached photo?
The preowner says it is a 2002 modell but I dowt it. Where can I find the motor number?

Serial number should be on a tag located on the transom mount.

Looks alot older than mine from the lettering and graphics and I have a 1999. Is it a 4 or 6 cylinder?

When did they stop building 2-stroke modells with 115 hp? I am not sure whether it?s 4 or 6 cylinders but I think it?s 4.
Do you ink it is older than 1995?
