Year of serial number 018077a

Hi Guys i know we have the section to show you what year your motor is but i can not find this serial in it is anyone able to tell me what year this serial matches
It is a 20HP blue band Mercury
It has 20 hp branding on the leg and 200 on the top of the cowling

Serial number is 7 digits. Try THIS website to get an idea of the year from the engine decals.

Judging by the decals i would say it is a 75-76 era motor

Customer just brought in a 20 HP 200 O/B with absolutely NO serial #s...just casting #s.
Front decal narrowed it down to '77-'78 and side decals made it a '78!
