My sources indicate that the motor is between a 1975-1977. The term "a good motor" is certainly a relative term. I would determine a good motor by finding out the compression and as much history of the individual engine as you can (how much has it ran or sat, what maintanence has been done, what parts replaced, etc).<br /><br /> I will say this... I would stay away from a '75 or a '76 if it has the original Magnapower II ignition system, as they were problematic and parts are very expensive. I believe the '77 had the Type IV Ignition system (External CD mod. & distributor). These are much more to my liking. Understand this is strictly my opinion. Someone may very well write about how much they love Mag. II ignitions but I do not.<br /><br />For what it's worth...<br /><br />Shane
