With 20 seconds remaining, the bike got two bids. The winning bid came in 2 seconds before closing. That's cutting it close. Wonder if he used a sniping service?<br /><br />I am pleased as can be. Even tho the number of watchers led me to think that the bidding might get heated, I did well. When all is said and done, however, it was a pretty poor investment. In 1981 I paid $1450.00, new, for the bike, and then drug it 1/3 of the way across the country only to constantly trip on it in my garage. Congrats boom. For reasons that escape me the old hondas seem to hold their value. In 1974 I bought (my Father bought to be precise) an XR75 for $400.00 & a Z50 for $550.00 ( both near new), last year I sold the XR for $1200.00 and the Z for $800.00, the Z was extremely beaten up - go figure.<br /><br />Aldo

Thanks Aldo. If it weren't for the transport issue there would of been a larger pool of possible buyers. Would, then, have probably done better. But comparing this to what the local classified ads would have done, well, there is no comparison.

Watched it close out actually, Boomyal. Was gettin a little worried for ya near the end. Glad things worked out. Hope the buyer is on the up and up, but with 100% feedback, I'm sure things will go smoothly.

Awesome Boomer.<br /><br />Just recieved the prop I bought a while back today for about $75.00. Great shape, but a little dull, (which I expected), Ill polish it up a bit and if I dont keep it, it will sell for $150.00 or better.
