So long story short my boat sat for a boat 6 months along with the fuel. When I got her ready for the season i replaced the plugs and lower unit oil. First time out with a fresh tank of gas and she ran like a champ all day. Here is where I got stupid towards the end of the day when fuel was low I switched over to the old fuel. Immediately after the boat would not start and I had to get towed in. The following week I took her back out with new fuel and she started and ran fine except at WOT. When I had her wide open it was a little sluggish and it felt like it wanted to stall it never did stall however and I ran the boat all day I just couldn't go wide open. So my question is do you think I can just run a fuel cleaner through the engine or do I need to do a carb rebuild? If its a rebuild I'm a little concerned about the sync and link the actual assembly and disassemble seem pretty straight forward but I cant find anything about how to do the sync and link. I have the Seloc online manual and it doesn't cover that part of the rebuild as far as I can tell. Any help as always would be greatly appreciated.
