Yet another prop question.

So, I just finished a 1970 Las Vegas stardust. It's a 20' bow rider tri hull. It has a 120 mercruiser. Not sure if it's a 2.5 or a 3.0 (my guess from reading on here is 2.5...I'm probably wrong).

At WOT with 2 adults and 3 kids with a days worth of drinks and food in a cooler, it will turn 3500-3900 rpms at between 30 and 35 mph (barely 35). I can't read the numbers on the current prop to be able to give any numbers off of it.

My questions are:
1) is this the right RPM range?
2) is a new SS prop going to be worth the cost?
3) what prop family (mercruiser vengeance, fury, laser, ect) should I be looking for, and what pitch/diameter should I start testing at?

Should include that I'm running the boat at less than 1000 feet above sea level.

Very nice the guys on here can help but using the prop selector on the mercury website may be more beneficial also for your aplication unless your going in saltwater a stainless prop is not really needed
