be careful not to make your political point too strongly, heir ralph ;) i understand the urgency of the situation - being that we have living liberals still out there and all... but this is really a boating site, with tangents for the weirdos to express their frustrations. lol

I can't think of a more important topic in our lifetime. (mine anyway). It is not a political point but both a historic one and a one that affects all of our futures.<br /><br />People are free to read my posts or not as they see fit. If people rather i not participate they should let me know so I can stop wasting eveybody's (mostly mine) time. <br /><br />Foregive me if I am wrong but the title of this areas is "Nothing to Do With Boats" and I've seen everything under the sun discussed here, with "politics" always ranking highly.<br /><br />Ok folks chime in here - you want me to stop or what?

excellent post ralph----political posts can really bend some folks noses though----seen some real brewhaas started on other boards-----<br /><br />is real sad that Klinton was more concerned with party politics than national security when time was ripe to bend over bin ladin :mad: :mad: :mad:

Ralph<br />It is not the American way for one to just sit down and agree with someones thoughts. I have mine and everyone else has theirs. We need more people to stand their ground, and not just accept what they are told/read ect. I may not always post my opinion, but I have one! Time to get the day started...........<br />I read more than I post and enjoy reading everyones opinion wheather I agree or not. Keep it up.... everyone!<br />Richard

The only problem I have with you Ralph,... your always taking my words out of my mouth! :) and saying better anyway. ;) <br /><br />Its refreshing to come and hear from middle aged (30-40) folks who have figured out what life means to them and everyone in this country. Freedom! Speech! etc. <br /><br />You are an asset to this forum, only the Libs would like for you to shut up.(my opinion everyone!).<br /><br />ebb, its cool to be conservative now. I have heard that recent bombings in Saudi were the work of Al Qaeda. I wonder what is up with that. It has been said by many experts on boths side of the political fence that UBL had sworn enmity with Saudi Arabia because they allow US troops on sacred Islamic soil. But at the same time, there is all this evidence that the Saudis are financing Al Qaeda. Smells fishy. Now this terrorist bomb exploding in Saudi a week or so ago, with Al Qaeda taking responsibily doesn't seem to add up. I wonder what is really going on with the Saudis. <br /><br />Maybe the country is split, like America is split politically. Who knows what is covered up, both here and in other countries. I don't know, but I don't trust the Saudis. Every time the Saudi ambassador is on a news show answering questions, I wonder why he alllowed to stay in this country. He NEVER gives staight answeres. If this is the best relationship we can maintain with Saudi Arabia, screw them. I get the feeling that the Saudis are involved closely with all the other nasty little countries in the middle east and are no freinds of ours.

It's not just history. It's fact that there are those out there who are hunting us. I don't know why anyone would want to just forget the fact that there is someone out there watching them, and waiting for a good time to strike.

Thanks everyone! I am going to do as SBN suggested and keep on keepin on!<br /><br />I saw several interviews with the Author, Posner and was chilled by what he had to say. I am going to buy the book.<br /><br />The CIA had this top AQ guy in custody. They tried to scare him by making him think he was in a Saudi jail.<br /><br />Two Arab American CIA agents dressed up like Saudis and went into the room.<br /><br />The AQ guy said, "Thank God it is you. Here, call this number, it is Price XYZ, he will tell you what is going on"<br /><br />The CIA agents were shocked. The number was real. They could not believe it. So, they went back in and said, "You're lying, the number is not real, etc."<br /><br />The AQ guys said, "no, it is real! Here, call these other 3 Princes and you will see. They will stand up for me too"<br /><br />SUre enough, all the numbers were real and to Saudi Princess.<br /><br />Shortly thereadter, every one of these Princess, all in their 40s or so, were dead. Car accident, heart attack, etc.<br /><br />The AQ guys said Prince XYZ and others knew about 911 before it happened although they probably did not know exactly what was going to happen.<br /><br />He also said the Pakistanis knew too.

oddjob - if you want to ignore my post-midnight posts ;) that's ok with me. i was tryin to make a feeble attempt at humor & warning in the same post... i have always warned on getting to many hot-topics going continuously, and like the more relaxed, humorous postings instead. but usually everyone ok's the debate type posts anyway. lol<br /><br />(ignoring posts is not much of an option, if you know what i mean)<br />well, i think there are a few here who like it more laid back, just can't remember now - its close to midnight. :) OBJ?
