Was reading about synchronizing your carbs. So i did so by making sure all butterfly's where closed while in neutral [which they weren't to start with]Then i made sure roll pins were perfectly vertical when at WOT.Idles better than ever but i don't have any fast idle when i move the lever up.Found that the yoke and thumb wheel was broke.Replaced it and still same thing.
I adjusted the thumb wheel so that when i pulled the fast idle lever, then it would work properly. After i adjusted the thumb wheel then motor wouldn't idle,it would cough and sneeze then die.would fast idle fine, would kinda sputter at low and mid range,so i put it back where i started.Does this adjust the timing in some way?I am having a hard time understanding why this would effect idle cause butterfly's are still completely closed and i didn't move any other linkages.
