A guy backed up to the boatramp yesterday with a pristine looking dark red Johnson 10 HP on the back of an old aluminum boat. <br />Me: "Nice looking motor, looks like a '56"<br />Him: "Not sure what year it is, this is my first time in the water this year." <br />Me: "Boy she sounds sweet, sure started easy."<br />Him: "Yes, she's a great runner. Do you want to know where I got her?"<br />Me: "Ok, where'd you get her?"<br />Him: "At a garage sale, paid ten dollars...and that included the tank."<br /><br />p.s. I told you not to read this.<br />Me: "Wow, those old pressure tanks are worth about eighty bucks alone, to say nothing of the motor." <br />Him: "Yea, know." as he quietly idled away from the dock.
