My kids often joke about the "coming Zombie Apocalypse", I found the perfect solution if it ever really happens.

I am a firm believer it's only a matter of time until it happens. Maybe not such a bad investment?

I just keep gas, weapons, and old school transportation (non-computer controlled) handy in case of "emergency".

I was at a flea market a few weeks ago and picked up a book you guys need to read. "The Zombie Survival Guide". Tell's you everything you could ever want to know about surviving the upcoming zombie apocolypse. LOL.

i guess the new west nile virus scare is just a isolated "problem"? also fema camps don't get me started, Jessie Ventura the old wrestler did a great piece on them that was taken off tv. kinda shocking about the things in plain sight we dot know or understand.

Just to clear up a couple misconceptions: Zombies can't swim, however, they have no resistance to "walking" underwater. The ONLY H2O true deterrent is salt water, and only then because of the depth. Alligators will NOT eat Zombies as they're "blood attracted" and we all know Zombies don't have any blood left in them....sheesh, come on people.

I have prepared by surrounding myself with slow & fat friends. As soon as the Zombie Apocolypse comes, and oh it's coming all right, I think I'm going to be ok because I plan to shoot one of them each time the Zombies get close. It's common knowledge that Zombies are swarming creatures, so they will be distracted long enough for me to get away. Oh, and it will be during this time that we sailors will rise to the top, since gas will NOT be readily available. All I can say is, "Good luck" and I hope I'm faster than you.

If it's the slow moving zombies like the earlier movies, then I think most of us stand a fighting chance. If it's the ones that haul azz like in the new movies, then we're all screwed!

Hopefully, I'lll be on the boat watching it happen on the shore line.

That plan is somewhat flawed. Your friends may be fat and slow but not STUPID. That trick will only work once!

Coming up at the end of October is a 5K run called ZombieRun. It's going to be held at the local fair grounds, and I guess it'll be full of obstacles, mud, "stumbler" zombies, and "sprinters".

Challenge is to get thru the hordes and the obstacles with your three flags (like flag football), get a "serum" and get back to base.


I'm no runner.

It could probably be raining bits of broken glass and rusty razor blades, and I'd still walk across the parking lot to get to the truck, but I figured I should give this a try..

We'll call it a dry run for the real thing.

Only thing missing is that I won't be able to shoot anybody if they get too close, but emoney, you can try your strategy out and sacrifice runners if you run in a team....
