Lately I have been having problems with my internet connection. I have ISDN service. I have talked to tech support from my ISP and they assure me that there has been no outages or problems with their servers that I am dialing into for the last week.

I have spoke with Sprint multiple times and the techs say that the switch is configured correctly. They have pulled and reinstalled my configuration a few times. ( I still have doubts about the switch working right, but they are no longer willing to research it)

Here is my problem: I configure the Cisco IDSN router using the Cisco supplied software. Everthing connects, both PC's connected to the router have internet connection. But anywhere from a few hours to a day later the connection no longer works, web pages time out.

I reconfigure, restart and everything is fine for a day or so, then it stops working again.

Sometimes one PC will have a connection, but the other does not.

I have run the network wizard to ensure that the PC's are set up right.

Sometimes I think that there could be an address issue, because rebooting the PC will cause it to not get a connection. I have checked windows and mcafee firewalls, removed all ISP blocks that were there, but it doesn't help. I have reduced the security level from "tight" to average. No change.

I worked on the PC's until midnight last night and gave up leaving the system with no internet.

I have bought a second Cisco ISND router and isntalled it with the same results. Both routers are brand new, not used.

What could be causing the problems connecting?
