Hi - I have a yamaha 200hpdi. Yesterday I ran the engine without realizing that the cooling hose (that you hook the garden hose to for flushing) was disconnected. The engine did not seem to overheat; I ran it for about twenty minutes before I realized the error. I am scared that I might have damaged something, even though the alarm did not go off. Does anyone know if the engine still gets enough water to cool it off, with that hose disconnected?
