Got my lawn mowed today!

Wow is all I can say. The company that did it done a great job. They were here for about an hour. 4 mowers, 2 doing the trim, and they even sprayed weed/feed plus weed killer around the buildings. They even brought in some mulch for around some of the trees and mailbox.

For me to do all that would have taken all day. Now this will let me stay at the boat till the evenings on Sundays. Now to wait to see when they start bringing my firewood for winter :D.

BTW, one other outcome from this situation is that I have officially broken a bad habit after 46 years! I'm actually growing fingernails! Been biteing them since I was 6. Wife likes it now that I can scratch her back!

Still trying to get use to the new dentures though..............SS

lol at you guys :D

Watched my idiot neighbor across the street from me (the one the turned me in for my much needed junk). He looked so hard at my lawn,,,,I thought his eyes were going to pop out! I bet that this weekend, he will do his best to keep up with my yard now. My wife is out picking up some flowers and plants to really set the house off. Just wonder what he is going to do now.

Having this company do my yard work is going to spoil me big time......SS

ss....Was this the service that was tied to the injury you had? I thought I read somewhere the parents of the kid owned a lawn service or something like that? Not that its important,just was wondering?

Congrats anyways..less time on the grass is time spent on the water.

Yep, that be the one. His agreement (written) was to do my lawn plus firewood and I wouldn't end up owning his service. It is written that if he fails to follow thru with the agreement, he will have to pay me $320 a month until the end of October. Then if he fails to get the fire wood, he will have to fill my fuel oil tank for the winter. With the price of oil, that maybe more pricey than the lawn care.

So far so good and they are doing a great job. The boys probation officer lives up the road and passes by my house to and from work. He called me and commented that my lawn looked good and wanted to make sure that it was the lawn service that did the work............SS

So Then, It was probably the right thing to choose, having the lawn done by the Dad of the kid who hurt you. I know, I'd love it if I could afford to have someone do mine, it's only a 1/3 acre, but so sloped down, & uneven, you have a hard time walking up, or down it, without holding onto something, with too many rocks in the front, and tree's in the back yard. The funny thing is, when we bought the lot, we figured it wasn't sloped too much?! It would take a ton of work constantly to make it look acceptable, that's the best part of a lawn service. So, good for you!

By the way, I miss the fact I can't bite off hang nails, or broken nails, with my upper dentures. :(

I got a feeling that you are going to be paying this guy next year. Haveing that service is a great thing as you can spend more time with your boat and the family and also you dont have to spend the money to buy,fix, and maintain the equipment...

Nope,,,,my grandson will be old enough to do it then without supervision. :D
He was going to do it for me this year, but the circumstances changed. I have a small lawn tractor just for him to putz around on the property with. So he won't be out of having fun this season.

Hah! You should get a lawn chair, umbrella, and a cold drink while you sit outside and watch him cut his grass. Glad everything's working out.

HAHAHA , if you are REALLY a sadist , you could do him a "favor" , and , secretly fertilize his lawn for him .
The grass will grow faster and thicker , requiring more frequent mowings to keep it in order . :mad:

That ought to give the idiot less time to worry about other peoples business , plus , he might even keel over from a heat stroke come August . :eek:

BTW , glad you have your little problem is solved , so far .
I hope daddy is riding this brats arse 24/7 . ;)
