A couple of weeks ago, a home owner reported a break in to their house. Of course they made the neccessary reports to the police. Then their house was broken into again. Reports made again, but this time they had a suspects name to give to the police. It turns out that it was a neighbor 19 years old a couple of houses away. The homeowners saw their property being sold and called the police. Nothing was done and the suspect just laughed at the homeowner and told them that they couldn't do anything about it.
Just a few days ago, the homeowner called the suspect to tell him that they had a job for him to do. Once he showed up at the house, they invited him in. put handcuffs on him, and beat the crap out of him. They even broke his arm in the beating.
Now 3 of the homeowners are sitting in jail for felony assult and the thief is loose with only being charged for burglary.
I think if the police had acted especially after the second break in, this wouldn't have happened. Just too many laws protecting career criminals in their deviant behavior.
I was taught that just because you could be breaking the law on someone doesn't mean that they won't break a law in retaliation on you in return.
