I have an opportunity to buy an 1986 Glassmaster Regency 210 Cuddy in great shape for almost nothing...because the 4.3 OMC engine AND outdrive are shot.
I also have the chance to buy a 20' Kayot deck boat that has a hull leak, but also has a perfectly running Mercruiser 5.7 (350ci) and Alpha outdrive.
I've done difficult engine swaps before (I shoved a 460 Ford engine in a 1950 Ford F1). I'll redo all the wiring and cables, so I'm not looking for advise on them. What I DO want to know is how hard it would be to mount the 350 mercruiser in the OMC's place AND how hard it will be to mount the alpha outdrive in the OMC's place.
