ok having trouble with pics 93' 200 ocean pro have had inti siphon go out. and further investigation when priming motor i noticed gas coming out of lower cowling so i removed carb cover and pumped ball and gas was coming out of all 6 carbs. doubting all the floats went at once. was thinking fuel pump?? this is of course with motor off. pic will show where gas is coming from on all 6 of them. thanks for your patience

Bad floats, stuck floats, sunk floats, leaking needle-n-seat.

could they all go bad at once or is ther something in the fuel pump that is not holding fuel back? thought this was a problem

Sorry guy I wasn't thinking about something that new, I was trying to give you an answer without even knowing what you had, but that looks like fuel injection to me, don't know nothin about that set up. I'm old school like 60 vintage.

The orange seal is called spaghetti seal. Dealers stock it in rolls.

If all 6 (or any one for that matter) is leaking then we'd need to look at the needle & seats first. Then float settings. If the carbs have been off recently and this started after that then it may be as simple as the washer being under the seat when it isn't needed.

If they have not been leaking and the carbs have not been apart then the ethanol may have gotten to the rubber tip on the needle.

The fuel pump will not enter into the equasion. The needle should be enough to stop the pressure even if you try to pump the bulb to "rock solid". That is, as long as the needle is as produced and the floats are adjusted correctly.

If you need to replace the needle & seat assembly use the one for a V6 crossflow. The inlet hole in the seat is larger and more forgiving as to passing any tiny crud that may get in there. If you take it apart and there is tiny black crud, it may be from a fuel line being eaten up from the inside by the ethanol.

could i simply just be over pumping the ball. i was trying to get the air out of line after putting new anti syphon and water sep. could over pumping the ball make this happen? sorry about pics but thats the only way i know how. (computer illiterate)

Umm no unless problem with float or mebbe if you were jumpin up and down on the ball.....

anyways you have a windows based machine? OPen picture in MSPAINT, its in your START menu under ALL PROGRAMS- Accesories. Open your picture in there then click the EDIT drop down menu and then click RESIZE SKEW option in there you can change picture size by percentages. ie from 100% to 50% or original size, click SAVE AS rename it and save that way you will still have the original.


If you cant find PAIN then when you click on the picture it will open in picture viewer click EDIT on top menu it will give options of programs to use, paint will be there


Now if you have a Mac, call apple you paid enough for it theyll tell you what to do.....................

re-built carbs, and needle and seats were shot. floats were off. also noticed some one butched the fuel line to carbs with 20 fittings instead of a 6 way. fixed everything. and this thing runs like a dream now. no more leaking carbs!!
