I've recently purchased an 1860 G3 during the first couple of outings the steering had a very noticeable pull to the right while the boat listed to the left. The dealer addressed the steering issue by installing a no feedback steering system which cured the pull to the right. It would seem the boat was afterward tested in calm water and the list was not noticed by the mechanic. However the list to the left remains and is worse in choppy water. List becomes most notable at planing speeds. The boat sits perfectly level when not under power. The engine is a 75 Yamaha 4stroke. The next proposed solution is to move the battery to the right side which doesn't seem to me to be far enough to the side of center to cause much of a problem.
Anyone with some thoughts on this, your response would be greatly appreciated. I've tried adjusting the jack plate height and the anode. Neither had a significant effect.
