Hey Dave, what comes around goes around. I already heard a top 10 reasons Dave had sex with co-workers by Andrew Dice Clay on news radio this morning. Nice to be on the other end of the stick, eh Dave?

Re: Letterman

I wish I heard that, Letterman at times can be really rude and not funny at all, and ole Paul reminds me of Richard Simmonds.........

Re: Letterman

The difference between Letterman and Leno or Carson is the latter were not being vicious and hiding behind humor, like Letterman sometimes does. And both Leno and Carson apparently have higher moral standards.

Letterman can be funny, but when he lets his nut case personality and views come out, its not funny any more.

So its nice to see him have to humble himself and take the black eye for a change.

Re: Letterman

The show used to be a lot funnier. He used to have funny regulars. Like the man under the stairs. Great outside bits. But like anything else they about done it all. Dave has lost a lot of energy to do things outside the box. Well still has energy for sex haha. Probably bored with the job after so many years. I think he provided lots of great entertainment in the early years of the show. Not many last as long as he has at that type work. Probably should have retired awhile back. Never thought Jay Leno was all that funny. Johnny was great in the early years too but went down hill later on.
Work place affairs always get you in trouble sooner or later. Dave could have afforded discreet call girl establishments

Except his snide remarks during the campaign about Sarah Palin and her daughter. And all the while he was banging his co-workers behind closed doors. He's a hypocrit whom I have now ZERO respect for.

so fine, you dont like him. Ive been watching his show for 10 years, hes a great guy and he has said some things in the past he had to apologize for. havent we all? everyone has an opinion, i was just sayin that hes still funny is all. and he can make light of a tough, emberrassing situation even when its on him. thats tough to do, especially for a public figure like himself.

Re: Letterman

So Mr. Letterman had sex consensually with a woman or two that this opportunist knew or knew of. Evidently in this guy's mind that is a horrible horrible thing, and he certainly would not want anyone to know of his own affairs like this so he figures Letterman will pay and decides to extort money. Mr Letterman took the extortionist's power away by owning up. Woops, didn't see THAT coming.

But why would we change how we felt about Letterman now? Are we jealous? People do this kind of thing all the time. Want proof? Count all the people on the planet, somebody is staying busy.

Re: Letterman

he admitted he had played around, but there is no actual time frame discussed. was it 2 months ago, two years, ten years. this really was not made clear, there has been speculations, by others, but no actual proof, when this took place.

Re: Letterman

I like Letterman, and this will be good for his career. These "transgressions" happened before he was married. Doesn't make it right he cheated on his GF but he's a grown man capable of making life decisions.
What about the creep extorting him, that's the real issue here, he's the despicable one.

I thought his Palin joke was funny , oh NO

Re: Letterman

I always considered him too immature, silly but probably good entertainment for the late nite audience. I could care less who he was bonking.
Network tv is long dead since cable came into its own.

Sorry, but with all else that's going on in the world, this one falls into my "So what? Who cares?" bucket.
